Arriving with a backpack? Here are four affordable, well-located options near the town centre or the train station.
From the station to your bed
Arriving by train? The station is the classic way into Lourdes. The idea is simple: get to your accommodation calmly.
- On foot: usually 15 to 25 minutes to the centre. Heavy bag or hot weather? Drink water. In the evening, pick a well-lit route on your map app.
- Bus: handy with a big bag or a late arrival. You can pay on board with a contactless bank card, or buy ahead via TLP Mobilités (website in French).
- Taxi: useful if it rains, if it is very late, or if you have two big bags. Ask for a price estimate first.
- Before you set off: address saved offline, a screenshot of your booking, some water, and a plan B if reception is closed.
